Artist Residency – Open Call for Applications: AHK & École des Sables

Academie voor Theater en Dans (AHK) in Amsterdam, Netherland and Ecole des Sables in Toubab Dialaw, Senegal is currently seeking applications for African based dancers to participate in a residency exchange.

This exchange between the two institutions aims to enrich, stimulate and develop the creativity of the participants while contributing to building a cultural and artistic bridge between dancers from different countries with different educational and professional backgrounds.

criteria

Dancers must be under 28 years of age, living and working in the African continent, have experience in improvisational work, have performed before, and be able to discuss various ideas and concepts. They should be open-minded and able to relate to others of different backgrounds and identities.
